Accounting Clerk Vigilant Surety and Insurance Partners is a privately held company that provides Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance with offices in New England, the Carolinas, an the Gulf Coast.

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! Responsibilities Perform accounts payable and receivable duties Maintain vendor relationships and handle invoices Prepare monthly payroll reports Reconcile bank accounts Reconcile credit card accounts and credit card statements Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal use by management Assist in month-end closing procedures.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) with advanced Excel skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to follow oral instructions and complete assignments to be provided in English is required.
Ability to work independently with little supervision is required.
Ability to work effectively with others is required.
Strong organizational skills are required.
Strong attention to detail is required.
Strong problem-solving skills are required.
Strong computer skills are required including experience with Google Sheets and Google Docs.
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
Experience in Agency Management Systems is Required, Experience in Applied EPIC AMS system is a plus.
