Responsibilities:
-Greet and prepare patients for their appointments.
- Provide patient care by assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments - Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and managing patient billing.
-Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing and maintaining inventory of medical supplies.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with coding and billing for medical procedures - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort - Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient conditions - Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
-Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training/experience - Basic life support (BLS) certification required - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other medical software Job Type:
