We have an exciting opportunity for a Palliative Care Doctor or GP with specialist interest to join our multi-disciplinary team, providing the highest standards of medical care for patients on our Inpatient Unit.

This post is central in ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to our patients and their families.
Some experience in palliative care is desirable but not essential.
It is expected that the post-holder will develop the specialist skills required through training and personal/professional development.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic doctor, committed to sharing their knowledge, skills and experience with all healthcare professionals in any setting.
This role requires a person who is an excellent communicator and committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to providing care to our client group.
Desired skills and experience Excellent interpersonal skills Empathetic nature An understanding of the impact of illness on the patient and family Highly motivated and innovative team player Ability to work effectively with colleagues from other disciplines Experience of working with patients with life-limiting illnesses within a Generalist Palliative Care environment Licensed with the General Medical Council (GMC) Key informationLocation:
