Litigation Paralegal - Daphne/Mobile, AL

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal for a permanent job opportunity in Daphne, Alabama. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for this position. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence; assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court filings, mediations, depositions, and hearings; drafting discovery responses; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, preferred

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Superb grammar, communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, proactive mindset

  • Understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery process

  • Solid organizational and time management skills

  • High accuracy and attention to detail when proofreading and typing

Pay Details:
$50,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
